Megafauna in Moz
I wrapped up my five months in Southern Africa with a dive trip in Mozambique, and mother nature did not disappoint. We suspended ourselves underwater as giant mantas swooped around us. We listened to the soundtrack of humpbacks, then watched in awe as one leaped across the water’s surface with its calf. We dove back into the water to chase a whale shark.
And that was only the megafauna. Our oceans are wild, and there is always more to explore. I hit a personal diving milestone as my buoyancy improved and I started spotting animals on my own. Honeycomb morays, octopus, eagle rays, and more - it felt like we hit the jackpot with every dive.
Thanks to Peri Peri Divers for the amazing time! I can’t wait to get back out there.
